Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of Zephoriam's automated phone assistant and related text messaging by the businesses that use it and by the people who call those businesses.

What Zephoriam does

Zephoriam answers calls on behalf of a business, helps callers book, move or cancel appointments and leave requests, and keeps an append-only record of what was said and done so the business can act on it. It is not an emergency service; if you have an emergency, hang up and dial your local emergency number.

Text messaging

Texts are sent only with your spoken consent, only about the appointment or request you called about, and only by a person at the business. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Accuracy

The assistant does its best to understand speech and will ask you to confirm anything it is not sure of. Appointment bookings, moves and cancellations take effect when the business's record shows them; a person at the business may review or reverse a request.

Acceptable use

Do not use the assistant to harass, to impersonate others, or to attempt to obtain information about another person. Businesses using Zephoriam agree to use caller information only to serve the caller and in line with the Privacy Policy.
